For most shoppers, Black Friday means heading out to the local mall to shop. For me it meant heading downtown to the Coliseum to attend a national Gem and Jewelry show! Here’s a small sample of the treasures I came home with…
I thought I was done with my buying trips until after the first of the year, but this show is a really good source for antique jewelry pieces and also fabulous gems and beads. I also came home with strands of genuine ruby, sapphire, garnet, tourmaline and aquamarine beads and I am excited to start adding these precious stones to my designs.
